Students’ post-consumer food waste is hand-scraped and weighed every half hour. Volunteers yell “Weigh the Waste” on the half hour announcing the pounds collected, and give out fun prizes to students who can guess correctly the amount of food waste they produce!
All event volunteers will receive: a Free lunch at Knightro’s, A “Weigh the Waste” Nametag, free t-shirt and their photo published on UCF Dining Facebpook page, website and more–publicity!
